MY FAMILY HISTORY My grandmother, Gladchuk Maria Illarionovna (Svetlichny first marriage, Filimonova – nee), 01.08.1921 G. R. all his life he kept a photograph of her first husband Theodore G. Svetlichny. His portrait has always hung on the wall of honor and a prominent place. Although after the war, grandma was married and had five more children including my mother, in the house grandfather and grandmother since childhood, I remember this portrait. Grandma has treasured in the memory of the few moments of happiness with your beloved Fedor. We, the grandchildren, she always talked about him as the best, beautiful and decent man, the hero of the great Patriotic war and a good man. When I was little, she told me about him with awe and love. I was looking at the portraits of young grandparents and admired for their beauty and love. My grandmother told me that Fedor patiently watched as Maria began to look after his friend. Silently, with him he came to the dance, talked with them, without admitting their feelings. But once Fedor broke down and confessed to Mary that he loves her and cannot do without her to submit a single minute of his life. Seeing the sincerity and determination of this beauty, Maria fell in love with him for life. He soon proposed to her and they got married. And in 1940, the year their first child was born Victor. On 22 June 1941 broke out a terrible war. As Fyodor Gavrilovich served in the militia, he was drafted in the first sets. Grandfather Fedor went to the front at the beginning of the war. At this time my grandmother was only 20 years old and remained in the hands of their first and only their infant son Victor. He and his three sons (Asher, Andrew and Alexander – now live in Omsk) was the only one who wore and wears the beautiful name of his grandfather. Grandpa in the composition of the 107 infantry division took part in fierce battles for the liberation of Kharkov. 05.09.1943 of the year in Kharkiv region, Valkovsky district in the battles for the liberation of the occupied Ukrainian village ohul'tsi Fedor died. He was buried on the Eastern outskirts of the village in a mass grave. Neither of our families could not visit the grave of our grandfather, as all lived far away, beyond the lake Baikal. Even not knowing him personally, all of us grandchildren and great-grandchildren have kept warm memories about his deceased grandfather Svetlichnaya Feodor Gavrilovich. The story of their love and memory of our grandmother Maria Illarionovna has done the impossible, we love and remember Fedor, my grandfather still. When my grandmother died, she went with portrait of Fedor on the wall in their house. As tried, I never found a picture of him. No I couldn't say what happened to the portrait of his grandfather, Theodore. The only thing that pleases me is the hope that in Heaven they finally met again, after many years of separation.
